ABOUT:
The Land of Ish started when Annie Kroeger stumbled upon it in a Url Forest. She was searching for herbs to heal her very gnome-like husband, who had double pneumonia. She was concerned about his health. But he pulled through and was able to push his wheel barrow around again. After all that trouble with her coughing husband, Annie only had the bandwidth to draw at her desk. She remembered stumbling into the Land of Ish and tried to paint pictures of what she thought it might look like, but Url’s don’t really look like much. She decided to imagine what it would look like if she were to go there some day. Her art degree from San Francisco State helped in conjuring up a bit of atmosphere with the use of pens and colored pencils. She also watched a few videos to catch up on what Url’s like these days. What Annie found out was really quite surprising because she always thought them to be a bit isolationist. But, she noticed they enjoy connecting and networking through social media. This really pleased Annie, because she likes to share what she’s created with others. She also learned that there are lots of people who want to learn new ways of creating art, and opening doorways to expressing through writing. Soon, the Land of Ish appeared as a universe into which one can explore their own creative spirit. It’s a vast and mutable place where learning and adventure go hand-in-hand!
