Welcome to the Land of Ish—A place that connects you with your own creative spark.
There really is so much to do when you put your mind to it. For instance, I have been creating art while I stay indoors during this covid 19 business. I have also been hearing a lot of stories, like that there are people going around and donating art materials for people who need MORE! There is always room for more art materials, but when they are scarce, a pen and paper will do.
The Mission of this website is to bring ideas on what to do while staying home—drawing projects, journal writing, and creating drawings based on what you’ve read. The drawing on this page came from one of my chapter books. It’s the exact image that comes to my mind when I read this part of my book. What images come to your mind when you read? It’s super fun to try and draw them, even if you don’t think you can. Creative expression is like a muscle. I can tell you, my drawings were not very good when I was young, but practice has made them better. Wink, Wink!
